How to Use Slack Messaging
Slack is basically like a chat room where we can involve different team members within certain rooms.  This helps to organize and streamline communication between the office and the field.  All company communications are in one place, easy to find and searchable.  In addition, the format of Slack makes it easy for the office to send messages from a desktop computer.

Slack gives us the opportunity to communicate really well as a company.  We can use it make announcements, share pictures of client lawns etc to develop a sense of comraderie.  This is crucial since as a whole, we all work independently!

How to Format a Slack Message
It may seem like a small detail, but it is very important.  Slack messages work like Facebook posts.  A post is made and any subsequent posts are made in reply to the original post.  This helps to compartmentalize the conversation so that it is not just an ongoing text message.  To make a client specific post, follow the guideline below.  By starting the thread with client name and address, it makes it very simple and easy to search for the client later on.  This comes in handy when a familiar name pops up, you can run a quick search and see what issues they have had in the past.
