6-Step Turf Care Program
Early Spring Fertilizer/Pre-Emergent- 2/15-3/31
We will apply a premium organic-based fertilizer with pre-emergent to your lawn.  This fertilizer provides natural, slow-release nutrients that feed your lawn gradually providing excellent color.  The pre-emergent will help to protect your lawn from Summer weeds.  Any weeds present will be treated as well.

Late Spring Fertilizer/Pre-Emergent- 4/1-5/15
We will apply a second application of a premium organic-based fertilizer with pre-emergent to your lawn.  The second application of pre-emergent will extend the weed control, protecting your lawn from difficult to control Summer weeds.  Any weeds present will be treated as well.

Summer Grub Control- 5/16-6/30
We will apply a grub control to protect your lawn from grubs and feeding insects that will damage your lawn. This application contains potash which will help to improve your lawn's response to summer heat, stress and drought. Any weeds present will be treated as well, including nutsedge.

Summer Soil Conditioner- 7/1-8/15
We will make an application of an organic-based, slow-release fertilizer to help your lawn recover from summer stress.  This application also contains an insect control to extend protection of your lawn into the fall months from lawn pests such as Fall Armyworm.Any weeds present will be treated as well.

Fall Fertilizer- 9/1-10/15
We will apply a premium organic-based balanced fertilizer to your lawn.  This balanced fertilizer will provide your lawn a deep green color and contains Phosphorous which will help with the establishment of new grass seed.  Any weeds present will be treated as well.

Winter Fertilizer- 10/16-11/30
We will apply a high Nitrogen, premium organic-based fertilizer to your lawn.  This fertilizer is formulated to protect your lawn through the Winter months and to provide an early Spring green-up.  Any weeds present will be treated as well.

Optional Lime Application- 12/1-1/31
Depending upon your lawn's individual needs, we will make a maintenance application of enhanced efficiency calcitic lime to neutralize the acidity of the soil. This application is completed in January/February and is recommended for established lawns.

Aeration & Overseeding- 8/15-10/15
We will mechanically core aerate your lawn to improve soil profile and relieve soil compaction.  Core aeration promotes a deeper root system and improves soil profile for optimal plant growth.  All turf areas will be overseeded with a high-quality tall fescue seed at a rate of 5 pounds of seed per thousand square feet. 

Mosquito/Tick Control (Dates approximate)
We will apply an organic-based mosquito and tick control product to all garden bed and perimeter areas of the property.  The product is applied with a backpack mister and provides 6 weeks of residual control.
Round 1- 5/1
Round 2- 6/1
Round 3- 7/1
Round 4- 8/1

3-Step Fungicide Program (Dates approximate)
We apply a liquid fungicide to all turf areas during times in which the disease pressure is high.  This application provides 30 days of control to all common diseases including red-thread and brown patch disease.
Round 1- 5/15
